Product Placement is popular in the media according to this article in 2012 advertiser spent 8.25 billion on product placement and since it was going to double in the next five years. The reason for product placement is because now they are coming up with skip ad buttons like on YouTube and a lot of people are using subscriptions to watch TV which you can pay not to have ads. The marketing industry is seeking to look for clients with more than a traditional message. These type of placement help with brands for entertainment. With product placement you can see it through the show or movie you’re watching and it’s not interpreting your show at all. The goal of product placement is to have the consumer has a positive influence of the brand they are advertising about. The second is influence the consumer so well and get a positive perception that they actually go out and buy that brand. Product placement is good for business because it make their customers aware and increases their sales without having traditional ads. Also with placement you need to make sure you have the right location for it to be placed. They are even coming out with digital insertion. With this coming out the process is easy it all happens in an editing suite. The budget for this won’t be expensive either because they can do it deals can be tailored locally. TV
