Pedagogy and andragogy are Greek words that mean child guide and man guide respectively. Both phrases refer to strategies of learning and have distinct standards. By realizing the variance between andragogy and pedagogy, one will be able to have a precise notion of why and how their subjects can learn appropriately. Generally, andragogy implies to the approaches and methods utilized in adult education and are geared towards gaining experience, problem-solving, and self-actualization. On the other hand, pedagogy is a teaching approach where the learner relies on the instructor for evaluation, knowledge acquisition, and guidance.
