1.      Logistics have you seen the UPS ads, what is up with that, what are they saying? You got stuff coming in and stuff going out what is the big deal, put it in a box and move it. As I have said, it is all about sales, push, pull, what the difference is, and who cares. Distribution, logistics, looks like someone is trying to justify their jobs, if you need to move it get a bigger truck. Noise I guess there is noise, you can't hear yourself think half the time and the other half is not worth listening to, what are these marketing guys thinking, or are they?

Deciding upon the distribution channel of your product is an important decision of the marketing department. It basically falls into the “Place” component of the marketing mix. It includes deciding where your product will be displayed and how it will reach that location. Some businesses will need to involve distributors while some may not. Businesses may need a distributor since a distributor purchases in bulk and mixes it with products of other companies and distributes it to retailers. Being the marketing manager of Kellogg’s, I realize
