To increase revenues, loyalty and profitability of consumers while decreasing costs is Kudler’s strategic objective. By providing high margin services leveraging the firm better understand of customer purchase patterns, and providing more efficient operations (Apollo Group, 2007) Kudler plans to increase the customer loyalty. To teach the customers how to prepare special foods they also plan to offer cooking classes. They will also increase the timings of the store so that more customers can visit the store. Such programmes boost consumer loyalty and word-of-mouth marketing. Because the consumers are not concerned with price, this regular buyer points program will not provide daily discounts but will compensate points for high end gift items, airline tickets upgrades or other items related to their food.
Kudler has been successful in California with potential of expanding into new areas. Kudler must find the ways to analyze data of their customers so that then they can provide with the customer need just to expand geographically (Apollo Group, 2007).
