Sovereignty is an important consideration in the political environment of global marketing especially when it comes to global marketing where it is the set of governmental institutions, political parties, and organizations that are the expression of the people in the nations of the world. According to Dr. Bruce Keillor, it is also important because government influencers of a particular country need to develope and administer laws and regulations with in the country's territory. It is important to bring to light that soverenty has an internal and external aspect.
Government influencers of the political environment have a recognized authority to excercise power with/in boundaries. Without it, there is no "nation state" which is how Arab Spring came about (a series of anti government protests in spring of 2011 that swept across the Middle East.
