Solution Description

Discussion Question #1:

Select an industry. What actions should a manager in the selected industry take to identify and protect the intellectual property rights of the organization?

The industry I select for this particular discussion question is the entertainment industry. From what I understand from various resources that copy rights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights is important. Protecting intellectual property rights is very important to many mass entertainment companies, along with bestselling authors. When movie industries send copies of unedited films out to editors, and other publishing companies, they want to make sure that they have all rights to the first and final copy. This goes for all those famous musicians, and bestselling authors. In most cases, many mass movie productions, musicians, along with bestselling authors all know that to protect themselves, along with their publications
