James White’s marketing company can deliver users to the Historical Society’s website in an ongoing fashion. The Historical Society is a non-profit organization that provides information regarding landmarks and preservation to the City of Elk Grove. Their intention is to provide an easy platform for user to visit when looking for or researching information on the city.

 

Currently the Historical Society holds a global ranking score of 10,007,877, which is extremely low. The growth rate for this site has increased over the last year a little over 2,000 users in a year not even registering. We anticipate an increase in ranking score over the next year to increase in the 100,000 range. This will be accomplished with an aggressive marketing plan and a small budget. Along with this plan there will be a need for volunteers to eliminate ongoing costs.

 

Once we have achieved the goal of hitting a ranking score of 100,000 or better there will be an increase estimated of 4-5 percent each year after. The long-term growth plan will include an ongoing force of volunteers and a small advertising budget to keep the site moving forward. This plan will help generate the funds needed to stay on track and focused on continuing the goal of the society. Our marketing plan is simply really and that is to generate buzz around the internet with free blogs and SEO companies willing to lend a hand to a non-profit organization. The start-up funds will come directly from the society’s coffers and from there be raised along the way through a donation portal located in all the blogs and websites.

 

 

 

Mission

 

Nike has a logo, “Just do it,” and Google wants to organize the world’s information through technology. Our goal is to provide the Historical Society more income through donations by marketing the website. We intend to increase user page visits and create blogs to promote up-and-coming events held by the Historical Society.  One year marketing plan will be used to increased traffic with an ongoing long-term plan to be put into place after one year.
