Depending on which area an employee is working in will depend on the level of access that employee will have on the network. Employees working in different departments from each other will not need to access a different departments data files. Access rights will be given to each employee based upon this information. While each employee is given their own level of access or an access right to certain data, servers will only be available for use during operation hours. This will limit the potential intrusion during off hours of operation. Not only will operations of accessing data during business hours within the building remote access will not be allowed during off hours also to prevent any such activities. Each computer user will have a user ID and a user password that will allow that user access to their individual or work team data. Each password will be required for entry and updated each month to limit lost password or leaked passwords to the system.
