Request Description

We’ve had some excellent discussions about how organizations can monitor employee motivation, satisfaction, and performance as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the methods.  Surveys seem to be the most effective method based on most of the information provided; however, the excellent points about just talking to the employees carries a lot of weight. 200-225 words and must have reference but not included in the word count!!!!

Is it possible to over-monitor motivation, satisfaction, and performance?  What would cause employees to feel as though they were “over-monitored” and what do you think the impact of that would be on motivation, satisfaction, and performance?
