First of all I would like to say I am going to do my best to go through this money like butter on an August day!  I will leave my existing home to a local needy couple who are recently down on their luck but have the background and responsibility to appreciate the gift and not take advantage of it, like smoking crack and trashing it!

Next I will buy a nice home, still small; I don’t have enough time to get to explore a really large home!

My girlfriend gets my dog, so she will need my Jaguar to drive him around in, she needs a new car and he needs a driver.

1. My purpose, my goal, is to leave the rest of my money to two groups who could really profit from it by not only saving lives but making other lives much better.

2. I have chosen two groups to give my house and my money to:

3. The gift would be given in the form of cash. If I were to live longer I would probably put it into trust with certain sums allotted each month, but as I will no longer be around to watch over it in a short amount of time, I really don’t care. I will trust them to spend it wisely, if they don’t, they can’t say I didn’t try!

4. To actually deliver the gifts, I would choose my very good friend, Marlena Cardinal, another great lover of pets and people, a truly gentle soul, she started the first dog park in her city! An enterprising woman who knows firsthand of grants and grant proposals! She would be honored to do it.

5. I will be giving the whole gift at one time; any interest-earning would be up to the two groups to decide upon. I believe both of them to be run by very responsible people and would expect them to invest the money wisely.

6. The cash gift is to be spent any way in which it will benefit the charities selected, EXCEPT for personal gain of the management, i.e.: NO bonuses or monetary gifts whatsoever are to be awarded to any member of staff from the monies donated, it is to be spent only directly on the dogs, the people and the training and upkeep of both. Staffing, janitorial, rent, office supplies, et al are to come from another source of income. I’ve done my part!
