1)      There are two methods to designing a database, the top-down method and the bottom-up method. While these methods appear radically different, they share the common goal of uniting a system by describing all of the interaction between the processes. Depending on certain factors such as scope and organizational structure, the type of design of the database might be different. Your database could be designed as a centralized database or a decentralized database. Taking top down, bottom up, centralized and decentralized design strategies, why would you use one of these design strategies over the other?
