Consider the choices of Native Americans who decide to stay on their tribe's native land (reservation) and those who choose to relocate to a city. If you were presented with this decision, which would you choose and why?

If I was a Native American and had the choice to live either on the native land or venture outside the reservation to live in a city, I would most certainly move to a city. I would do this for a few reasons. One reason is because the educational and employment opportunities are far greater living off of the reservation. With American Indians fighting educational and financial poverty, this seems like the clear choice. Another reason I would choose to move off of the reservation is because American Indians are just like any other U.S. citizen and should be treated as such. By remaining on the reservation I would be promoting segregation that America works so hard to eliminate.
