Consider racial imbalances in education, the economy, family life, housing, criminal justice, health care, and politics. Of these societal challenges facing modern African Americans, which do you think are most difficult to overcome, and why?
These are all major issues for African Americans, and it is difficult to pick just one. I would have to say that Criminal Justice is the most difficult to overcome. If you look at society we tend to label African Americans as criminals, gang bangers and judge them before we know who they are. If an officer were to pull over a Caucasian man and a Black man, the black man would be judged first. We have seen it and heard about it many times. Society can do away with racism if only we could work on ending this type of situation.
