Thank you for connecting me about your daughter Malak. I am going to explain to you what is emergent literacy, and how does it differ from the reading readiness perspective. Emergent literacy is how young children interact with books when reading and writing before they learn how to read and write in school. When learners look at different types of books, they can be physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially engaging for the children. Other examples of
