In the case of Miguel causing the accident in Oklahoma, Washington has jurisdiction because it has title to the vehicle which is a party to the lawsuit and Miguel resides in Washington as well. Companies are looking to make a huge profit, would move their manufacturing plant overseas where they didn't have as many labor laws as there are in the U.S. - The people/children of these plants do not get the breaks that we get in the States and are usually forced to work extreme hours - for the benefit of the organization high profit margin.  The conditions of these sweatshops are deplorable at best. If I remember correctly, this clothing line was sold at Wal-Mart; which leaves to wonder what is Wal-Mart doing in 2012 to keep low prices while ensuring shoppers that they are no longer using suppliers who use sweatshops to produce products?
