A branding strategy is critical as it ensures that a newly created or existing product is established within the market and that it can grow amid saturation from other competing products (Kotler & Keller, 2012). Avon Products Inc. Like any other company in the cosmetic industry, employs various brand strategies that ensure the company retains its substantial market share and that is it is able to introduce new products to the market at ease. Some of the branding strategies Avon products uses amidst stiff competition from its competitors (Mary Kay, L’Oreal, and Revlon) include the following;
