I'm trying to make a C program that continually polls for temperature. Whenever the temperature changes from one range to another I want to PORTC to equal 0x01 until the sensor input is equal to 0x02 then I want PORTC to equal 0x02 for a given delay then PORTC will equal 0x00. This is the code I have so far. I think my problem is that the program constantly performs the actions instead of only when the temperature changes from one range to another but I'm not sure that's the problem or even the only problem.
