Introduction

Diversion grants the opportunity to realize the mistakes before going to court. Opportunity is on the way by which he observed. Juvenile diversion work for the juvenile wrongdoer who done threats for the first time. Juvenile diversion is shot deal and its advantage can be used for the first time. Diversion helps to identify the mistakes done by the juveniles. The purpose of this process is to help the family of juveniles and find a best choice. And also it helps them to reach the greatest latent qualities equal to the valued members in society. If a juvenile commit minor crime (short misdemeanor) then he/she will get a chance of deferred judgment. Juvenile diversion is available both in Juvenile and adult court. For the crimes such as grave, rape, and burglary, juvenile diversion is not allowed. Under diversion, on the basis of charge cases are diverted away from the juveniles who commit crime.

Juvenile Diversion

If a juvenile complete the diversion programs then his records and trials will be avoided. If an individual commit crime for the first time then it will be carried out as minor infringing act. Each and every Official judgment differs on the basis of quality for participation. For the first time probation officer will explain about the process to juvenile offenders. Probation officer will check whether diversion is suitable for the juvenile offenders. After the confirmation juvenile offenders are allowed to participate in the program. Programs for the juveniles include educational classes and drug counseling (for appropriate reasons).

The diversion is not too soft for youth who commit first-time offense but helps them to overcome it by certain set of terms. Under Diversion, youth are changed away from formal system at the first point. Diversion process is allowed when the youth accept that he/she is responsible for the crime. Benefit of diversion is that youth’s get a chance to re-evaluate their behavior without criminal register. Diversion reduces the number of cases in a particular period of time. Diversion is primary option for the criminal offenders. If the crime is not earnest then youth’s have second and third chance to overcome the crime.

Conclusion

After completing all the terms of diversion the case of juveniles are closed. The public criminal record will be avoided for the first time if they complete all terms. Reason for the process is that juvenile offenders divert the process of cases with Juvenile Diversion. But the courts have a dismissal to show the juveniles who completed diversion. But the judgment will not be entered in the court. In some of the rare cases, diversion is allowed for the second time. The extent of this power is defined as the process of “deferred prosecution”.  The cases will be set as trials if juveniles maintain their innocence.
