With the genetic testing, we are only focusing on biological influences into behavior. It is quite a hypothetical situation, as there may be some biological influences into criminal behavior, but the idea that a specific criminal gene exists is not realistic. That being said, the possibility exists that we could find a mix of genes that influence certain types of characteristics (impulsivity, thrill seeking, etc.) These characteristics/traits could then increase the likelihood of criminal behavior as one of the possible outcomes. What are some other possible outcomes, besides criminal behavior, of such characteristics?
